HVAC Services

How often should I have my HVAC system serviced?

We recommend a tune-up twice a year—once in the spring for your cooling system and once in the fall for your heating system. Regular maintenance catches small issues before they become expensive repairs and keeps your system running efficiently.

What are signs my furnace or AC needs to be replaced?

Common signs include a system that’s over 15 years old, frequent breakdowns, rising energy bills, uneven heating or cooling throughout your home, or unusual noises. Our technicians can assess your system and give you an honest recommendation.

Do you offer emergency HVAC repairs?

Yes. We understand that a broken furnace in January or a failed AC in July can’t wait. Dean’s List members receive same-day priority service. Call or text 717-993-1476 and we’ll get you taken care of as quickly as possible.


Plumbing

Do you handle water heater installations?

Yes—both traditional tank and tankless water heaters. We can help you choose the right unit for your home’s size and usage, handle the full installation, and haul away your old unit.

Can you fix a slow drain or clog?

Absolutely. Slow drains and clogs are some of the most common plumbing calls we receive. We diagnose the root cause rather than just clearing the immediate blockage, so the problem doesn’t come right back.


Electrical

Do you install EV chargers?

Yes. We install Level 2 EV chargers for home use. We’ll assess your panel capacity, handle any necessary upgrades, and install the charger safely and to code.

What is a sub-panel and do I need one?

A sub-panel is a secondary electrical panel that distributes power to a specific area of your home—like a garage, workshop, or addition. If you’re adding circuits or your main panel is running out of capacity, a sub-panel may be the right solution. We’ll give you an honest assessment.

What is included in a House Tutor membership?

All three membership tiers include a reduced labor rate, priority booking, installation discounts, and rewards points on every dollar spent. Higher tiers add faster priority scheduling, free maintenance services, and larger installation savings. See our Memberships page for full details.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?
